Academic Plan

My academic plan appears to be on the right track. I had to waste a semster do to the fact i had low test scores. I haven't been in school for five years. I know what a waste of time it was . I would have been going to school all that time i would be done. I talked to an advicer and we determined that I am doing good and on parr. I plan on transferring to WSU when I complete my stint here at Butler. I am doing sports administration. with maybe a secondary in psychology, I haven 't made up my mind yet. Its so far so good to and I hope that I don't have any problems. My advicer told me that as long as I keep plugging along I will be ok.

You can even set up an academic plan at this website. Map out what you want and need to do. Here is another web site that shows job availability.
This is another college website for people that are interested in sports administration.

Academic Honesty

You could probably see this either way, honesty or dishonesty. I think everyone has delt with cheating in one way or another. The question you have to ask yourself is what you did when it happened. I am no choir boy and have cheated before. Back in high school i copied papers and looked at others tests. I can say that every paper i wrote, i wrote it. The only thing i learned from all the other stuff is nothing. I had to learn what i cheated on so all i did was create more work for my self. Now there is no way you can get by, by cheating. Plus as you get older lets hope that you develop sometype of feeling between right and wrong. So lets hope that everyone has grown up and can actually do things for themselves. I know i have. I would hate to take any of these classes again cause i was to lazy to do my own work. Once is enough for me. Also i am taking classes that intrest me not ones that are boring and i want nothing to do with. Colleges have more of plagureism a paper or project then copying homework. Things have changed since high school i feel more accountable for my action now then i did. Well i hope that things have changed for the rest of you for the better and good luck in the future and all you do.

Community Service

In most recent years we have experienced some of the world's worst. We saw 9-11 how about Hurricane Katrina , the tsunmi, the torando that leveled Greensboro. Or how about the wild fires in California that killed hundreds and destroyed millions. If it wasn't for the help of community service's of many to make things bareible and able to move on. I have been around community services most of my life, my grandmother was big in the community of viola and when ever someone needed help we were there to offer our services. When I was little it was a crappy thing to go spend your saturday to help someone that you didn't know. Know I see things and life differently. My mom went to new york when 9-11 happened and was part of that massive community clean up. I probably don't do what i should but i have to cut out two hours of sleep two day a week just to get a work out program at the y. When i become a coach i plan on having a community unity for the school and community. The goal is to bring community and school together, on different levels. Sacirfice is the greatest gift you can give someone. If you have never done it i would recomend it. It helps the soul.

Coping with change

My biggest change that has happened in the last year or year and a half would be the death or my mother. It has actually been closer to two years know. Yes it was very difficult, because the year before that I had lost my baby boy. He had died during heart surgery. The only real problems that I have had has been death. In 2004 I lost my son, one year and three months later my mom dies. Then a year and four months later my moms mom dies, then six months later my dads mom dies. So as you can see I have had my share of lost ones, and I am still here. I just keep going cause noone else will do it for me. I really don't let people see it if something is wrong. On a lighter note I really don't have a problem with the jump from high school to college it has actually been a little easier. I have always been one of those people that if something is wrong I fix it. Weather that be lifestyle or work and or even education. I never wanted to settle for second place. I haven't experienced any emotional or physical problems since starting school. Wait I take that back it has given me a little more stress. Thats common and with work and a family. Its hard to make sure that everyone and everythings gets the right amount of time but I seem to be doing okay. Change is good it gets people on there toes and gives people a new prespective on different things that maybe you didn't have before. I try to keep switching things up so I don't get complacive, and try to stay out of that rout feeling. Form where I was five years ago to know is a complete three hundred and sixty degree turn. It is one thing to say you want to change it is another to actually do it. It is unbeliveable to see the transformation that some people and even myself actually go through to get what they want or change. It just as a may be one of the most singlely difficult things to do in someones life , change. I recomend that if you have any thoughts of change don't wait any long do it.

Time Management

There has always been three types of people the doers, don'ts and the procrastenaters. It doesn't matter what type of person you are as long as you get what you need DONE, DONE Right? We all know the benifits of actually being done before hand, but for some reason it never fails that I don't do it till the last minute. I like to think it of it as a way to put more thought into it. I always say work smarter not harder. Doesn't sound like I listen to that either. For some it may not be time management, but more of that you managed to get time. I could do more to manage my time. One thing is do some stuff when i get it, not till the day before nor day of. It feels like I have 10 hours of work but only have 7 hours to do it then go to class. I have taken great steps to manage more of my time and it was to cut out two hours of sleep. No just kidding around I actually developed a system in which it has been working for the most part this semster. I think that it could benifit most people to develope some type of homework mangement system if needed if not do what works for you it seems to be working so far, right? Since this is my blog and its my thoughts i don't think its time we need to manage. You want to know what i think it seems people need help with is MONEY!!! Thats right money. Some things that people spend money on and the price of some things is just outrageous. So maybe we can fit a money class into that time class it would do some good. Lets make it happen people. I am out
